The bowl split exactly down the middle

Premonitions come in various forms. People see loved ones dying, the imagine natural disasters.

My most eerie premonition was ultimately very prosaic.

This happened in the latter part of 2016. I want to say it was in the fall because I dont remember needing to have warm clothes on. It definitely happened in my Atlanta home meaning it happened between April 2015 and August 2017.

For days before it happened, I kept thinking to myself that i had never seen a bowl split exactly down the middle. Right through the day, I'd see in my mind's eye a bowl cleaved exactly in half. This went on for weeks.

That morning, I was making breakfast for myself. I had taken out the jar of oats and placed it on the counter. I took the fateful bowl and placed it I normally would on the counter when it cracked exactly in half from one side all the way to the other. One half fell down, separated from the other.

You don't have to believe me but this really happened.
