Lallath:Sunday

I used to find the idea of koans very odd. What method of meditation and spiritual growth relies on asking people such abstruse questions that their brain grows? It made no sense.

Then yesterday, amidst one of those neverending train journeys, a thought popped in my head that I could not draw a connection between a random made up word Lallath and Sunday.

Lallath, being made up, means nothing.

Sunday means a stretch of 24 hrs preceding 12:00 am Monday.

I’m not smart enough to connect the two in any way possible.

For a second, I felt that this is probably the reaction most people have to a koan - A mind growing moment when you realize you just don’t know what to think.
