When I die

When I die, someone - me? - who used to pay my hosting company for the privilege of using their bytes will eventually stop doing that. After a few billing cycles pass without payment, the hosting company will send a final reminder and then, on a set date, end my lease of their bytes.

At that point, this blog will cease to exist except as a memory in someone’s brain of an post read a long time ago.

The bytes which represent these words will be repurposed for something else - maybe an image, a song, or a control message (html) determining how an adjacent string should be displayed.

Everything ends but I can say for certain that my blog will have an afterlife under someone else’s control. There is beauty in this.
